Blue Shell is on track to achieve ISO27001 certification by February 2019 . In a statement, the Technical Director, Nigel Bazley said “it is a credit to the work put in by everyone at Blue Shell, that we are now in a position to submit for certification. A lot of work has been done and we now have a set of draft procedures in place that formalises our company policy of providing security, service, value, and integrity, the achievement of ISO27001 will formally validate our standards. At Blue Shell we offer specialist consultation for GDPR and Cyber Security, we therefore feel that the ISO 27001 will enhance our company profile in this area of expertise.”
ISO is published by the International organization for standards and the ISO standard 27001 is used throughout the world by Governments and organisations to show that data security is implemented throughout an organisation. The standard specifies requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually monitoring and improving the information security management system (ISMS)
